My Final Major Project - Hemingway’s Rest

Reading is often a private, intimate affair. Getting lost in the carefully crafted words and intricate plots of your favorite author, most people will curl up on the sofa, or sit by the pool and immerse themselves. But what if you want a different experience?

Hemingway’s Rest is about discovery. Finding that next book that will change your world, all while sitting in a relaxed bar setting. Coffee shops have often played host to many an avid reader, but it is about time it was a more social event. Make friends and share ideas over a glass of something cold.

Pop-Up Restaurant at a Bookstore

Roomforty hosted a pop-up dinner at The Last Bookstore in LA last year. It looks so much more interesting and fun than a stale coffee shop just stuck in the corner. What I’d love even more is a bar in a bookshop.
